Nowadays, there are too many overused locations for dates. Everyone’s always going to stuff like the movies, or the beach, or bowling. For this Valentine’s Day, treat yourself and your partner to something special. A place where you can truly have the Valentine’s Day experience of your life, whether that be a joyous occasion or the most traumatizing experience of your life.
An easy location to get to from Bothell would be the Kidd Valley in Kenmore. Now I know what you may be thinking, but this is no ordinary Kidd Valley. It’s home to the elusive man, who may or may not be real, who collects poetry and reads random newspapers in his free time. There’s also a nice view of the water from the windows, and you can see cars go by. The food there is good in some areas but bad in others. The burgers don’t have any seasoning on them and are usually dry, and I hear the onion rings are reduced in quality. However, the coffee milkshake is great, and I’d recommend getting it. Overall, 5/10 location. Some nice parts, mostly mediocre.
If you’re looking for a place secluded from all the other annoying couples, then this one’s for you. That’s why Antarctica is the best place if you want to be the only couple for miles. Well, there are gonna be some animals there, too, and they might be in relationships as well. It’s got beautiful landscapes, with a stunning view of the sky at night, as it’s far away from any light pollution and also all other forms of human civilization. If you also enjoy snow and ice, you’ll definitely like it, as it’s just nothing but that for miles. 7/10 experience, but you have to have all the necessary materials to survive for more than a couple of hours.
If you’re looking for a dinner date with entertainment for low prices, then Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is a great place for you and your partner. One of the best parts about the location is the animatronics, which are a little scary and smell like decaying corpses, but they play hits like “Old Macdonald had a farm” and “Old Macdonald had a farm” again. You might not be able to hear the performers sometimes because of the children running around and screaming, but that’s only on busy days. While you watch the animatronics, you can eat some pizza, which sometimes tastes like cardboard and may or may not contain human flesh. But whatever you do, do not go into the storage room or the security office. Especially if you are under the age of 14. And do not AT ALL go to Freddy’s at night. Overall, very entertaining 8/10.
Last but not least, is Ikea, my most recommended location for new couples. It’s essential that people know what it’s like to be together for a long time, so you and your partner can pretend to have an argument in the kitchen and resolve each other’s differences. You can also walk around the store and figure out which furniture you want in your future home. And it gets better! There’s even food you can enjoy after you annoy the employees with your yelling. Just a small warning, do not go to Ikea after hours or when the lights go out. 10/10 location.
