PAW-SITIVE PUPS

Hey everyone! If you have seen my article from last year based on the dogs in the counselors’ office, you may have a hunch that I love dogs. With that in mind, it might not be a surprise that I have now created a new series on dog adventures! I have always been inspired by one particular photographer, The Dogist, on social media. If you have not heard of him, he basically goes around his town in New York, asking to take pictures of dogs and asking about their stories. I wanted to do something similar but in the town of Bothell! Today I present to you the first of the series Paw-sitive Pups.

PUPPY PROFILE:

This food-loving English labrador is Scar (age 7). He lives with his owner Ece Uzuncaova (‘25). When you first meet Scar, all he wants to do is roll onto to his back and ask for belly rubs. Of course, with all his charm you can never say no. His favorite things to do is always revolving around food, of course, or sleep. When I asked Ece about his personality, she described him as a sleepy, yet friendly dog that is always excited for anything (especially treats). Some fun facts about this lovable ball of chub are he gets excited when he hears the song Happy Birthday and loves to show off his sweaters to anyone wanting to see. Hope you enjoyed hearing about Scar and see you next time on Paw-sitive Pups.
