From the mouth of a fashion fiend

A guide to help you avoid some spring fashion faux pas.

The fashion industry has evolved from the 19th century until now. There are patterns, fabrics, and colors, and just clothing items that shouldn’t be worn out in the eyes of the public.

“What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language” Miuccia Prada.

Personally I think denim on denim shouldn’t and should have never been a trend. When I think if denim on denim the first thing that comes to mind is a cowboy. I can’t say if that is a bad thing or not, it’s just not my cup of tea.

Wearing clear boots is something nobody should wear. After a long day of wearing these boots your feet tend to sweat and it makes the whole boot foggy and it is not a pleasant look.

Boot cut pants are also on this list of fashion don’ts. I remember wearing these unflattering jeans as a kid and I could honestly say this is the biggest fashion crime of them all. Especially when they are low cut from the waist with jewels on the back pockets.

Mens’ rompers. Where did this idea come from and from who? Cuz I’m suing.

Nude leggings. If you are wearing these you look naked.

“Fashion is very important. It is life-enhancing and, like everything that gives pleasure, it is worth doing well” Vivienne Westwood.

Please heed these rules; we all see your outfit more than you see your own out and about.
