Sports are a large part of Bothell High School’s community. From boys to girls to co ed, we have it all.

Within these sports are student athletes who give their all, and, as a community, we want to celebrate them. For our first Athlete of the Month, we would like to celebrate Spencer Haney (‘19).

Spencer competes in Boys Golf and is currently in his second year playing the sport. When asked his main motivation in getting him this far, he responded with, “My main motivation has always been myself. I have always pushed myself to do better and strive to improve myself in any way possible.”

Spencer is now being highlighted as athlete of the month, which he says means that “all the hard work I have put into golf is being recognized and is paying off. When we spoke with Spencer’s coach, he said “Spencer always has a great attitude and has been a great role model for our younger players”.

Spencer recognizes the characteristics of being a team player and a motivator to all who are around him. Highlighting exceeding student athletes plays an important role in celebrating the successes and accomplishments of those in our community.
