Cougs spring into action!

BHS athletes are pushing past their limits this spring. Here is a quick brief on how spring sports are going so far,

Girls Tennis:
The girls tennis team is really excited to play this season; they have been practicing hard. Brooklyn Smith (‘19) says that the girls are “supportive of each other” and are “excited to get to know each other.”

Boys Soccer:
The boys soccer team has enjoyed playing and bonding so far this season. Senior captain Spencer Haney says that with this “talented group of kids.” One of our goals is to be the best team in Northshore.”

Track:
The track team hopes to win KingCo season. This year, a lot of talented athletes have joined the team. Junior captain Jaiden Childs says, “As the season goes, we are trying to find out the hidden talent these athletes have.”

Baseball:
The baseball team is ready for this season which has been pretty good for them, “we are not bad, we are good… we can get better,” says Erik Bainter (‘19). This year, the boys hope they will win the KingCo championship.

Girls Golf:
The season is going well for the girls golf team. “We have a really fun and positive environment,” says Katie Rutter (‘19). The girls are excited to play with each other and spend time with each other throughout the season.

Softball:
The softball team is determined to make it to state this season. “We are playing as a team and are all having fun,” says senior captain Lizzy Olson. The girls are excited to play in the remainder of the season.

Badminton:
The badminton team is ready for this spring. They are excited to get to know their new team mates. Senior captain Ellen Tran (‘19) says, “A lot of people have been learning new skills.” The girls won the first game of the season.

Lacrosse:
The boys lacrosse team won their first game this season against Glacier Peak. “It was a really good team bonding experience,” says captain Bryce MacDonald (‘20). They are hoping to become state champions this season.
