Hello again! Welcome to the second episode of Paws-itive Pups. Today, our next loveable guess here is Suki! Suki is a 3-year-old Staffordshire terrier mix (a type of pit bull). Malia Ozoa (‘25) describes her funky companion as a lovable and friendly spirit getting spoiled, meeting new friends, and invading personal space. Her favorite things to do include running around with her best friend, Dixie, as well as snuggling with her favorite humans. Some things about Suki’s life are that she’s a rescue and had parvo which is an often fatal viral infection for dogs, yet she still stands strong today. Even with how strong Suki is, she tends to get a little nervous around some people and despises bath time. Sometimes Suki gets judged for being a pit bull, but around the neighborhood, she’s known for being good with kids and their dogs, and a local celebrity.
