Senior Feature Q&A: Mary Conway

Malavika Santhosh, Reporter

Q: Name/Staff Position

A: Mary Conaway / A&E Editor

Q: Why did you decide to join the Catamount staff?

A: I love writing in different styles, I wanted to write more than just academic essays.

Q: What have you published in the paper (article, art, design, etc) that you’re most proud of, and why?

A: Any of my recipe articles, I love cooking and baking so it was fun to share in the paper. Also my first astrology article and astrology chart, I had a lot of fun writing and researching.

Q: Describe a memorable experience working on the Catamount (maybe an interview, a deadline, a late night work session, a memorable quote, etc):

A: My hard drive last year deleted two pages I was working on on the day of deadline so I had to complete two pages in under an hour.

Q: Describe any regrets/frustrations with losing the final 3 print issues of the Catamount your senior year. What would you have wanted to publish in print?

A: I would want to write more about the club time schedule, it was extremely unfair to seniors and juniors this year.

Q: What are your plans for next year and beyond?

A: Attending college in person hopefully!
