Air pollution is believed to be a big factor regarding climate change according to the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, which is a change in global and regional climate due to increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

According to Science News, factories release many harmful chemicals like CO2, methane, and nitrous oxide which are very harmful towards our respiratory system and are some of the major factors that cause lung cancer and other diseases along with smoking.

Polluted air is more prominent in countries like India and China. According to Mrs. Beth Rosin, there tends to be more pollution in densely populated areas since these areas are filled majorly with manufacturers. She also added that not only do big cities produce harmful chemicals, but farms produce methane due to their cows.

Air pollution is a big harmful factor because the carbon dioxide in the air can be very harmful towards living organisms health and the environment, therefore, it is important to know how to produce less harmful chemicals for our environment. This way we can help our world to become healthy once again.

According to the New Hampshire Department of Environmental every time we drive to school, use our heater or air conditioner, clean our windows, or even style our hair, we make choices that affect air pollution. They have provided helpful tips to help reduce air contamination like limiting driving by carpooling, using public transportation, biking and walking, choosing environmentally friendly cleaners and conserving energy, remember to turn off lights, computers, and electric appliances when not in use.
