A: Derek Rodriguez, Reporter in the Catamount.

Q: Why did you decide to join the Catamount staff?

A: “Cody told me it was a cool class and it also seemed interesting.”

Q: What have you published in the paper (article, art, design, etc) that you’re most proud of, and why?

A: “The work I’m most proud of is the February issue of the Catamount because the litter box had so much color and it was so vibrant and had great content inside.”

Q: Describe a memorable experience working on the Catamount (maybe an interview, a deadline, a late night work session, a memorable quote, etc):

A: “The late work days when finishing up issues and eating pizza.”

Q: Describe any regrets/frustrations with losing the final 3 print issues of the Catamount your senior year. What would you have wanted to publish in print?

A: “I wish we could have finished the rest of the issues we had left because moving to online school didn’t feel the same.”

Q: What are your plans for next year and beyond?

A: “My plans for next year is to continue studying wherever I end up going.”
